The Dashboard is a feature for OS X that includes a number of different Widgets such as Contacts and Calendar. After awhile, your computer will start to slow down due to this feature because it has a lot memory intensive widgets. Even when your not using the Dashboard, your computer still runs it in the background in order to provide you with always up to date information. You can disable this feature at any time by typing in a simple code into the terminal on your system. In this video, I show you how to disable the dashboard so that you can speed your Mac computer up significantly.
